A comforting, weeknight-friendly casserole that combines creamy Alfredo sauce, tender shredded chicken, and crispy tater tots into one delicious dish.

- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and seasoning to taste.
- Spread the chicken-Alfredo mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
- Evenly sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- If using peas, sprinkle them on in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving for easier cutting.
Notes
Use pre-cooked or rotisserie chicken for convenience. Broil for extra crispiness for 1-2 minutes at the end. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
