Description

A versatile baked frittata made with eggs, milk, and your choice of vegetables, meats, cheese, or herbs. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

8 large eggs ½ cup milk or cream ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter Choice of fillings (vegetables, meats, cheese, herbs)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and slightly frothy. 3. Heat olive oil or butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chosen fillings and cook until tender (3–5 minutes). 4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the fillings. Tilt the pan gently to distribute. 5. Cook on stovetop for 2–3 minutes until the edges begin to set. 6. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes until the center is just set. 7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges.

Notes

Frittata is a great way to use up leftover vegetables or meats. Avoid overbaking to keep it tender.
