Flaky Peach Pie Cruffins Recipe – Easy 30-Minute Breakfast Treat

  • Author: Elsa
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 cruffins 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These peach cinnamon cruffins are a twisty, sweet treat made with crescent roll dough, peach preserves, and a hint of spice. Baked in a muffin tin for that perfect cruffin shape, they’re finished with a creamy glaze and optional crunchy toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup peach preserves (preferably chunky)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream

Optional Toppings:

  • Chopped pecans
  • Turbinado sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Prepare filling: In a bowl, stir together the peach preserves and cinnamon.
  3. Work the dough: Open the crescent roll dough and unroll. Pinch the seams together to form a large rectangle.
  4. Spread the filling: Evenly spread a thin layer of the peach-cinnamon mixture across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Roll and slice: Roll the dough into a log. Cut the log in half crosswise, then slice each half lengthwise to reveal the layers.
  6. Shape: Twist each strip and coil into spirals. Place each cruffin into a muffin cup, cut side up.
  7. Repeat: Continue with remaining dough until you have 12 filled muffin cups.
  8. Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Make the glaze: Whisk powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth.
  10. Finish: Drizzle glaze over warm cruffins. Add chopped pecans or turbinado sugar if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

You can substitute peach preserves with apricot or raspberry for variety. These are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
