Description

Deliciously fudgy flourless brownies made with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist on a classic dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat or 2%)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup (or 1/3 cup coconut sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • Melted dark chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
  8. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate if desired before serving.

Notes

Use full-fat yogurt for the fudgiest result. For extra fudginess, you may add 2 tablespoons more Greek yogurt.
