- 8 slices of crustless sandwich bread
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon of heavy cream
- 1 knob of butter
- 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 100 grams of sugar
Instructions
- Flatten the slices of sandwich bread using a rolling pin.
- Roll each slice of bread up into a tight cylinder.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla.
- Dip the rolled bread into the egg mixture until they are well-coated.
- In a hot skillet, add the knob of butter. Cook the rolled bread on each side until they are lightly golden.
- For the glaze, mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Dip the warm roll-ups into the glaze.
