Description

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of crustless sandwich bread
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of milk

  • 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla

  • 100 grams of sugar

Instructions

  1. Flatten the slices of sandwich bread using a rolling pin.
  2. Roll each slice of bread up into a tight cylinder.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla.
  4. Dip the rolled bread into the egg mixture until they are well-coated.
  5. In a hot skillet, add the knob of butter. Cook the rolled bread on each side until they are lightly golden.
  6. For the glaze, mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Dip the warm roll-ups into the glaze.
