- 3 apples, peeled and sliced
- 250g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Sugar (to taste)
- 2 eggs
- 200ml milk
- Oil for frying
- Cinnamon (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prep the apples by peeling and slicing them. Mix with cinnamon and sugar.
- In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk until combined.
- Slowly add wet ingredients to dry, mixing gently.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Pour a ladle of batter into the pan and place apple slices on top. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Serve warm, dusted with cinnamon and sugar if desired.
Notes
Choose tart or sweet apple varieties for the best flavor. Don’t overmix the batter for fluffiness.
