Description
A quick, comforting one-pan meal featuring lean ground turkey, golden-brown cauliflower, and a savory garlic-butter finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets, rinse and pat dry. Mince garlic and chop parsley.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add cauliflower, season, and cook until golden-brown (4–5 minutes), toss and cook until tender-crisp (5–7 minutes). Transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter if necessary, add ground turkey, season, and cook until fully browned (7–10 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return cauliflower to the skillet, combine, and let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add remaining butter and Parmesan, stir gently until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning and stir in parsley.
- Serve garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Pat cauliflower dry before cooking to ensure proper browning. For a crunchy texture, reserve some cauliflower to roast separately.
