- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into chunks
- 1 (16 oz) package gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir to combine everything.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
This dish pairs well with a simple side salad or crusty bread, and you can sprinkle more parmesan cheese on top before serving.
