Description
A cozy dish transforming leftover turkey into a mouthwatering feast with creamy Alfredo, melty mozzarella, and flaky crescent rolls.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
- 1/2 cup jarred Alfredo sauce (or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked turkey, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping wide ends in the center.
- Spoon the turkey Alfredo filling around the wide ends of the crescent dough triangles.
- Fold the triangle tips over the filling and tuck them under the ring to enclose the filling.
- Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle herbs or cheese if desired. Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Use leftover turkey for best flavor. Can substitute chicken or make vegetarian with mushrooms. Keep warm in a low oven if serving for a gathering.
