A quick and versatile fruit salad that combines seasonal fruits with warm gingerbread spices for a cozy, holiday-inspired dish.
Ingredients

- 2 cups mixed seasonal fruits (apples, pears, oranges), chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed seasonal fruits. Make sure pieces are roughly the same size.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey or maple syrup, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pour the spice mixture over the fruit and gently toss to coat.
- If desired, add chopped nuts for crunch.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
- Serve chilled, popping it in the fridge for 20 minutes if desired.
Notes
For a vegan version, swap honey for maple syrup. This salad can also be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
