- 8 ounces goat cheese, softened to room temperature
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts, almonds, or pistachios)
- 2 tablespoons chopped thyme and rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and toast the pecans for 5–7 minutes until fragrant.
- In a small baking dish, combine the softened goat cheese and cream cheese, spreading evenly.
- Spread the fig jam over the cheese layer and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
- Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is soft and warm; broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes and garnish with chopped thyme and rosemary. Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. For freezing, remove nuts and freeze for up to 1 month.
