Ingredients

  • 8 ounces goat cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
  • 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and toast the chopped pecans for 5-7 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  2. In a small baking dish, combine the softened goat cheese and cream cheese, spreading evenly.
  3. Spoon the fig jam over the cheese layer and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
  4. Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the fig jam layer.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is soft and warm, and the edges of the jam are bubbly.
  6. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped thyme and rosemary. Serve warm with slices of baguette or crackers.
