- 8 ounces goat cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and toast the chopped pecans for 5-7 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- In a small baking dish, combine the softened goat cheese and cream cheese, spreading evenly.
- Spoon the fig jam over the cheese layer and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
- Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the fig jam layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is soft and warm, and the edges of the jam are bubbly.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped thyme and rosemary. Serve warm with slices of baguette or crackers.
