- 4 slices rustic bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Toast bread until golden.
- Sauté garlic in butter, add mushrooms, and cook until browned.
- Place bread on baking sheet, top with mushrooms and cheese.
- Broil until cheese melts and bubbles.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a deeper mushroom flavor, sauté in batches and add a splash of white wine or soy sauce. To keep bread from getting soggy, toast it well and broil immediately after assembling.
