Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and they are golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving with tzatziki sauce or over rice.
