Description
A delicious and fun twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, combining cheesy goodness with the flavors of a burrito.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Drain the excess grease, add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave for flexibility.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
- Heat a clean skillet, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in it. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Flip and repeat for the other side, about 3-4 minutes each.
Notes
Serve hot with extra chipotle sauce or sour cream for dipping. Add fresh toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or avocado for extra flavor.
