A simple and nourishing dish made with ground turkey, tender potatoes, and bright peas, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Crumble ground turkey into the skillet and cook until golden-brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in diced potatoes, cover, and cook until tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes until warmed through.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving. Serve warm, optionally over rice or with bread.
Notes
For an added treat, serve with a side salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
