Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole or 2% recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional garnish)
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), for garnish (optional)
  • Chocolate sauce or caramel sauce, for drizzling (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and place it in the bottom of the baking dish, pressing the seams together.
  3. Melt the butter and pour over the dough, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
  4. Top with the second can of crescent dough, pressing seams together again.
  5. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add 1 cup sugar, egg, vanilla, milk, and cinnamon (if using), and mix until combined.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent layer and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and filling is set.
  8. Cool for 30–60 minutes, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours.
  9. Cut into bars and serve with optional garnishes.
