- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

- 1/2 cup brown butter icing, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle with brown butter icing before serving.
