Ingredients

- 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add pepperoni and any additional toppings you like.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can customize the fillings to your taste and use store-bought sauce for convenience.
