Description

Delicious, cheesy pizza pockets filled with your favorite toppings, perfect for snacks or meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add pepperoni and any additional toppings you like.
  6. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
