Description
Juicy turkey meatballs baked and tossed in a sticky honey garlic glaze with soy sauce and sesame oil. A quick and flavorful dinner served with rice or noodles.

For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (regular or whole wheat)
- 1 large egg
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
For the Honey Garlic Glaze:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (slurry)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Make the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, green onion, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until just combined (do not overmix).
- Shape & Bake: Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Prepare the Glaze: In a pan, whisk honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Cook over medium heat until thickened and glossy.
- Coat the Meatballs: Add baked meatballs to the pan. Toss gently to coat evenly with glaze.
- Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with rice, noodles, or veggies.
Notes
These meatballs can be meal-prepped and reheated. Swap turkey for chicken or beef if desired.
