- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Coat the chicken in a slow cooker, pour the honey-mustard sauce over the top, and turn to coat.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- If using skin-on pieces, broil for 2–4 minutes for a crispy finish.
- Serve the chicken on plates, spooning extra sauce over the top.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for juicier results. For a thicker sauce, simmer sauce until reduced after cooking, or add cornstarch slurry.
