- 1 pound of chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same pan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onions. Serve hot.
Notes
For a crispy texture, ensure the chicken is well-coated with cornstarch. Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of honey.
