1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup hot fudge sauce (for swirl)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup hot fudge sauce, warmed (for drizzle)
¼ cup chocolate chips (for topping)
2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla extract.
Gradually mix dry ingredients with wet, alternating with buttermilk.
Fold in chocolate chips and prepare hot fudge sauce.
Layer half the batter in the pan, pour in hot fudge, then add remaining batter and sauce.
Swirl the mixture gently and bake for 55 to 70 minutes.
Allow to cool before slicing; optional to drizzle with additional hot fudge.
