Description

A warm and creamy dip featuring a luxurious blend of smoked gouda and crispy beef bacon, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz smoked gouda cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup cooked beef bacon, crumbled
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook beef bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8 to 12 minutes. Drain excess grease and crumble, setting aside some for garnish.
  2. Shred smoked gouda and sharp cheddar cheese. Slice green onions, reserving half for garnish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise; beat until smooth.
  4. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper to the creamy base, mixing well.
  5. Fold in crumbled beef bacon, two-thirds of shredded gouda and cheddar, and reserved green onions.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and spoon in the dip mixture.
  7. Top with remaining gouda and cheddar, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let dip rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then garnish with reserved beef bacon and green onions. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicy version, add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes. Can be made ahead and baked when ready to serve.
