- 1 can (10.75 oz) Campbell’s condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 cups green beans, fresh, frozen (thawed), or canned (drained)
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions, divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Select a baking dish and grease it lightly.
- Drain and pat dry green beans.
- In a bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and soy sauce. Whisk until smooth.
- Fold in green beans and two-thirds of the fried onions.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
- Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure all beans are drained well to avoid a watery casserole. You can also prepare this dish a day in advance and bake just before serving.
