  • 2 cups penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook penne until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Garlic & Beef: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, sauté 30 seconds. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Create Sauce: Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, then add mozzarella and Parmesan. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine: Add pasta to skillet, toss until coated. Add splash of pasta water if needed to loosen.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra cheese. Serve hot.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes. Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
