Description
Buttery crescent dough rolled with sweet peach preserves and cinnamon, baked into golden cruffins and topped with a silky glaze. These peach cruffins are a quick and elegant treat—perfect for brunch, dessert, or gifting.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cans refrigerated crescent dough (8 oz each)
- 1 cup peach preserves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- Optional Add-ons: Nutmeg, orange zest, chopped pecans, coarse sugar
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a standard muffin tin.
- Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix the peach preserves with ground cinnamon. Add nutmeg or orange zest if using.
- Roll Dough: Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to create rectangles.
- Spread & Shape: Spread a thin layer of the peach mixture over each rectangle. Roll up into a log, cut in half crosswise, then slice each piece lengthwise. Twist and coil into spirals, cut side up, and place into muffin wells.
- Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Glaze: While cruffins cool slightly, whisk powdered sugar and cream together to make a glaze.
- Finish: Drizzle glaze over warm cruffins and optionally sprinkle with chopped pecans or coarse sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
You can prep these ahead and reheat before serving. Try with different fruit preserves like apricot or raspberry for variety. Best enjoyed the same day for peak flakiness.
