Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese or Monterey Jack
1/2 cup sliced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 large egg (for egg wash)
As needed Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)

Instructions
Prepare beef bacon if using and cook until crispy, then crumble.
Prepare jalapeños by mincing and reserving pickling brine if applicable.
Create a creamy base with softened cream cheese and optional mayonnaise until smooth.
Integrate shredded cheeses, jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and seasonings into the cream cheese.
Prepare puff pastry by rolling into a 10 x 12-inch rectangle.
Spread half of the filling over the first puff pastry sheet, leaving a border.
Place the second sheet over the filling and press to seal.
Cut into strips about 3/4-inch to 1-inch wide and twist each strip.
Arrange on a baking sheet, leaving spaces between each twist.
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with salt or paprika if desired.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake for 18–25 minutes until golden brown.
Cool for 5–10 minutes and serve with dipping sauces.
