Description
Tender sweet corn coated in garlicky Old Bay butter, topped with grated Parmesan and your favorite garnishes. A bold and flavorful twist on classic corn on the cob.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ears of fresh sweet corn (shucked)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Optional: chili flakes, chopped parsley, fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Boil the Corn: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for 5–7 minutes until tender. Remove and let drain.
- Prepare Seasoned Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes. Stir in Old Bay seasoning and remove from heat.
- Coat the Corn: Place the corn on a tray or in a large bowl. Pour the seasoned butter over each ear and brush to coat evenly.
- Add Cheese and Garnish: While the corn is still hot, sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with chili flakes, parsley, and lime juice if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, grill the corn before brushing with butter. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and texture.
