A delicious mashup of lasagna and cheeseburger flavors, this dish combines seasoned ground beef, classic burger condiments, and gooey cheese in a comforting baked casserole.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 8–10 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream or mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, adding the onion and garlic midway until softened.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, and tomato sauce, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream (or mayonnaise), cheddar, and half the mozzarella until combined.
- Spread meat sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce repeatedly, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add pickled jalapeños between layers. This dish can be assembled ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
