- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons no sugar added ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Bacon: Dice bacon and cook in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Brown Beef: Drain bacon grease, then cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Mix Flavors: Add cream cheese, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt. Stir over low heat until combined.
- Layer the Dish: Spread beef mixture into a greased 8×8″ casserole dish. Top with cooked bacon.
- Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, hot sauce, and pepper.
- Assemble: Pour egg mixture evenly over beef. Top with shredded cheddar.
- Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Finish & Serve: Let cool 10–15 minutes. Garnish with dill. Serve with pickles or red onions if desired.
Notes
For a keto-friendly version, ensure ketchup is sugar-free. Try topping with jalapeños for spice.
