- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 bag (9.75 oz) Doritos, crushed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain the excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning along with the diced tomatoes, cheese soup, and milk. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed Doritos.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the first layer of Doritos.
- Top the casserole with the remaining crushed Doritos and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Best served with fresh cilantro, diced avocado, or a dollop of sour cream. Suitable for freezing and can be made ahead of time.
