Description

These fluffy cinnamon rolls are made with Greek yogurt for a guiltless treat that’s quick and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix yogurt, milk, and sugar.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Knead the dough gently on a floured counter for about a minute.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Spread melted butter on the dough.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mix evenly over the dough.
  9. Roll it up tightly from the long side.
  10. Slice the rolled dough into even pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
  11. Place sliced rolls in a greased baking dish.
  12. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  13. Let them cool for a few minutes before icing, if desired.

Notes

Skip the icing if you prefer a lighter roll or use honey or maple syrup instead.
