Ingredients

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- For the vanilla glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve.
Notes
For best results, use fresh, crisp apples. Fry at the right temperature to ensure a crispy texture.
