A cozy and fizzy take on traditional mulled wine, perfect for festive gatherings.
Ingredients

- 750 ml red wine
- 250 ml soda water
- 2 orange slices
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1/4 cup honey or sugar
- Cinnamon foam (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine red wine, orange slices, cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise, and honey or sugar. Heat gently until warm, but do not boil.
- Once aromatic, simmer for about 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Stir occasionally.
- Strain the mulled wine into a pitcher, removing solids.
- In a glass, add mulled wine mixture and top with soda water to taste.
- Garnish with cinnamon foam if desired. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
For a nonalcoholic version, substitute red wine with black tea or pomegranate juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.
