A playful appetizer that looks like a mummy and tastes delicious, perfect for Halloween or any gathering.
Ingredients

- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce (optional)
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 candy eyes (or small pieces of olives for edible eyes)
- Crackers, pretzels, and vegetables for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire until smooth.
- Shape mixture into a ball using plastic wrap. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out crescent dough and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap strips around the cheese ball, leaving space for eyes.
- Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly, then press in candy eyes or olive slices.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels, and veggies.
Notes
To keep the cheese ball from getting too soft, chill it before wrapping. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and spices.
