Description

A healthy and delicious Mushroom and Tofu Stir-Fry that is quick to prepare and packed with protein and vitamins.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g firm tofu
  • 250g mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Vegetables of choice (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown and crisp on all sides.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are soft.
  5. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  6. Add soy sauce and your choice of vegetables, and stir-fry until everything is heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Press tofu for at least 15-30 minutes for a better texture. Feel free to mix and match with your favorite vegetables and serve over rice or noodles.
