Description
A creamy and spicy jalapeño dip that’s perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (fresh; remove seeds/membranes for less heat)
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced green onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Ensure cream cheese is softened. Finely dice jalapeños, red bell pepper, and green onion.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes. Add mayonnaise and mix until well combined.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, red bell pepper, and green onion until evenly distributed.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), then transfer the dip mixture to a lightly greased baking dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, let cool for 5–10 minutes, and serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For a milder dip, remove the seeds from the jalapeños. This dip can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
