- 16 mozzarella sticks
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Nashville Hot seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Freeze the mozzarella sticks for at least 30-60 minutes.
- Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Dredge each bacon-wrapped stick in flour, dip in eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Rest the breaded sticks in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer.
- Fry the sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dips.
