Ingredients

  • 64 ounces sweetened cranberry juice
  • 2 liters ginger ale, chilled
  • 16 ounces orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons lime zest
  • 6 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole star anise
  • 5 sprigs thyme
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser, combine the sweetened cranberry juice and orange juice.
  2. Add lime zest, whole cinnamon sticks, whole star anise, and thyme to the juice mixture. Stir gently.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 to 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  4. Just before serving, gently pour the chilled ginger ale into the juice mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Add fresh cranberries and ice cubes for garnish and serve immediately.
