- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear both sides of the chicken breasts until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir until combined and simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra crunch, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes in the oven. If you like a bit of spice, add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
