Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear both sides of the chicken breasts until golden brown.
  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir until combined and simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes in the oven. If you like a bit of spice, add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
