Description

Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ground beef
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Tomato sauce
  • Béchamel sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; cook until browned.
  5. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a separate pot, prepare the béchamel sauce.
  7. In a baking dish, layer noodles, meat sauce, béchamel, and cheeses. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh basil or a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese. A side salad and garlic bread make great additions.
