Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces pasta (like egg noodles or rotini)
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the shredded chicken and cooked pasta until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavor.
