Indulgent Peppermint Brownie Truffles made with boxed brownie mix for an easy and festive treat.

- 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients listed on the back of the box
- 1 1/2 cups baked brownies from the box mix, cooled and chilled
- 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
- 8 oz Ghirardelli melting chocolate
- 1 cup crushed candy canes
- Optional: sea salt flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to the package directions. Allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Crumble the cooled brownies into fine crumbs in a large mixing bowl. Add the chocolate frosting and mix until well combined.
- Use a small cookie scoop to portion the mixture and roll it into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill until firm.
- Melt the Ghirardelli melting chocolate according to package directions. Dip each truffle into the chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
- Chill the dipped truffles until the chocolate sets. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Chilling the brownies is crucial for easy handling. Use properly tempered chocolate for dipping to avoid melting the truffles.
