Description

Ingredients

All-purpose flour Granulated sugar Baking powder Salt Unsalted butter Eggs Whole milk Vanilla extract Cocoa powder Strawberry flavoring or pureed strawberries Pink food coloring (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease cake pans. 2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla. 3. Alternate adding dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) and milk. 4. Divide batter into three portions: – Vanilla layer: keep as is. – Chocolate layer: mix in cocoa powder and a little sugar. – Strawberry layer: add strawberry puree and pink coloring. 5. Drop spoonfuls of each batter into pans randomly, then swirl lightly with a skewer. 6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Cool completely, then frost with vanilla or strawberry buttercream.

Notes

For a stronger strawberry flavor, use concentrated strawberry flavoring or cook down the puree before adding.
