- 1 package (12 oz) pork or chicken dumplings
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach or bok choy
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add dumplings and cook according to package instructions (usually 4 to 6 minutes).
- Stir in spinach or bok choy and soy sauce, cook until greens are wilted (2 to 3 minutes).
- Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
