- 150 g unsalted butter
- 80 g Brown sugar
- 160 g Cream cheese
- 220 g Icing sugar
For the Decoration
- Orange food color
- Pumpkin seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan with oil or parchment paper.
- Mix both sugars, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Add pumpkin puree; then incorporate dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 mins. Cool in pan 10 mins, then on rack.
- For frosting: Beat butter, add brown sugar, cream cheese, and icing sugar until smooth.
- Spread frosting over cooled cake, add orange food color and pumpkin seeds for decoration.
