- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ cup crispy fried onions
- 1 tbsp parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a muffin tin.
- Cut puff pastry into 12 squares and press into muffin cups.
- Parbake pastry shells for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.
- Incorporate green beans and crispy onions into the creamy mixture.
- Fill each pastry cup with the mixture, topping with more Parmesan and fried onions.
- Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until tops are bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley before serving warm.
Notes
Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for 2 months before baking.
