- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Optional: shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Optional: Sear chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- In the crockpot, mix together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts into the crockpot, coating them well with the creamy sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce using two forks.
- Stir in sour cream for added creaminess.
- Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
