Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Add the egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.

- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into balls and then roll them in powdered sugar until coated.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
